About Resolve Health Osteopathy

Resolve health Osteopaths have years of experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. We take a thorough case history to ensure best care and treatment relevant to your condition. Where necessary we can refer or liaise with your GP. 

Dr Kate Doak

Kate Doak has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Osteopathy at RMIT, a five year university course, and graduated in 1995. She has worked in a number of Osteopathic clinics, including her own practice since then; Windsor Osteopathy, Berwick Osteopathy, Arcadia Health, mhealth and Waterways Osteopathy. These clinics have included working with GPs, Physiotherapists, Naturopaths, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Masseurs and Pilates instructors.

Kate has additional training in dry needling techniques and cupping. Kate has also completed the APPI clinical pilates course.

Kate has a special interest in treating headaches and neck pain, as well as spinal issues including scoliosis. Outside of Osteopathy, Kate enjoys travel, hiking and spending time at her bush block, that is when she isn’t ferrying her kids around as a taxi driver.

Dr Jonathan Cannizzaro

Jonathan treats a wide range of conditions, including low back pain and neck and shoulder pain.

He has a special interest in sports related injuries. Having worked with many athletes previously at Old Mentonians Football Club and currently with South Melbourne Football Club, Jonathan understands the importance of listening to patients needs and working with them to improve their overall health.

He holds a great passion in getting patients back to their active lives and preventing further injuries. Jonathan has known from a young age that he wanted to be an Osteopath after receiving treatment from a local Osteopathy clinic after a soccer injury. His philosophy surrounds using a holistic approach considering all areas of health to get his patients back to enjoying movement.

Outside of Osteopathy, Jonathan enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, working out and cycling.
